July 17 th 12, Spent an hour with the men of my new book series, "Journey" & they poured their hearts out so freely. Men with beautiful hearts & so real in their compassion for truth to the story. I am looking forward to this series it will be more than a novel. My 1st character will be named, Gordon, he is the unforgettable man that fights hard for his son in the court system that he can and wants be a good father. Sorry, it makes me cry to know how much he gave of himself to prove he could raise his son Brian. Wow! I do mean wow. I am fallen in love with these men and how pure at heart they are in their journey. I am looking for 2 more men to be apart of the group panel so when we go live we can have conversation that gives balance to the stories told. My hope is to make this real that my women sisters will hopefully embrace these brothers true hearts. It's become more than a story it's become a part of a mission.
July 15th 12,Tonight is blog night with the men of Journey. I can't wait to hear what they share. We will have an hour talk and the subject talk continues on A Father's Love, Unapologetic. Fathers who have love unconditionally for their children but it's difficult because the mother's won't let them share in custody or in raising them. Wow it's a intense subject and should be more than an hour but I am taking what I can get. Do you have questions? I do! Got my note pad ready. Enjoy your day!
July 12 th 12, Today is a good writing day. Gordon my fiction character met the girl of his dreams Maxi but her friend Tessa is doing everything she can to prevent them from coming together. But what Tessa didn't know was that Gordon was really feeling Maxi and had his best friend Preston set up a private business meeting with Maxi so he could have the time to get to know her. When they met up the sparks were flying and both Maxi and Gordon felt that undeniable connect towards one another. Once they recognized what they were really feeling Tessa didn't have a chance with Gordon but that wasn't stopping her. Tessa was determined to fight to the end to get her man. She was the only one that didn't know that Gordon wasn't her man. What do you think? Should I make her a stocker crazy woman?

The Beginning
JOURNEY, is a man series of stories shared by men of many different walks of life wrapped into a four fiction characters who share their journey living as a man in an unforgiving world. Mistakes are shared, relationships that lead to bad baby momma drama and working careers that shows the light of a hard working man trying to do right. This book gives in sight to the african american man that does all the right things but the system in place makes it difficult and challenging but shows the unspoken strength of men who don't let it keep them down and they rise. They rise up and fight the good fight of faith to prove they are a force to be reckon with and they are not going down without a fight to prove not all men are dogs. There are good men that do good things, the right thing and live an honorable life of self-respect.
